Painting and cyclical PPM Team
Who we helped
Meadowcroft sheltered housing – a home for elderly and vulnerable residents.
We performed cyclical maintenance and painted the inside of the property, as well as undertook garden maintenance
What we did
Before starting on the works, we met all the residents to discuss the programme so they would know what to expect. This provided the opportunity for the residents to ask questions and raise concerns. It gave them the reassurance they needed that we would also be restoring and providing ongoing maintenance to their communal garden.
An on-site inspection highlighted the need to tend parts of the garden where it had become overgrown. It also highlighted that some of the external guttering needed to be replaced.
Works commenced and in addition to the general cyclical maintenance works, the team replaced the guttering to prevent water damage to the home. Water tests were carried out to ensure no splits or leaks were present following installation.
Once the scaffold was removed, we jet washed all communal paths to get them back to a good standard. We then liaised with our grounds maintenance team who got to work on the communal garden.
At a post-works meeting with the residents, they expressed their gratitude and delight – especially with the communal gardens which are now attractive and easy to maintain.
This planned programme of works was a great example of teamwork across different workstreams, which resulted in high customer satisfaction.
